Mary Fallin Brags about Tax Cuts While Oklahoma is Bankrupt

Stay classy Mary.  Seems this kind of reckless Washington Spending didn't stop with your Congressional days and has now made it all the way back to our great state.  Mmmm that tasty $500 million budget short fall is best served with a little tax cut for the rich on the side.

“Change is hard at times, but hopefully they’ll all be able to come to the table and work something out,” she added.
Mary Fallin ran on a campaign of hope and change in Oklahoma.  We were too fiscally responsible before.  We didn't spend enough the way the TARP bailout did!  We need to be more like Washington not less.  More bailouts for everyone!  We'll just call them "tax cuts" instead... or "business incentives."

Gov. Mary Fallin to Propose Cuts; Backdoor Spending

Cuts for us - spending for her.
MIDWEST CITY, Okla. (AP) — Gov. Mary Fallin said Friday a proposed state budget she will present to legislators next week will include budget cuts for every state agency.
At the same time a fund will be set up that Fallin or Lt. Governor Todd Lamb could use to woo businesses to Oklahoma.  This same fund was declared unconstitutional by the State Supreme Court to the previous Governor Brad Henry but Governor Mary Fallin doesn’t care she wants her money to play with!  And boy howdy she better get it otherwise Oklahoma will fall apart!  We need to be able to buy businesses stake dinners and hookers so they’ll relocate here.  Maybe if we also passed Right to Work businesses would come here too.  Oh…. wait….. how’d that work out again?

Fallin procured a $3 million earmark for a defense contractor that employed less than a quarter of jobs promised

Fallin secured a $3 million earmark for a private contractor, Wave Technologies, which operated the Urban Warfare Analysis Center. The contractor was previously expected to provide 100 high-paying defense jobs in Shawnee but actually only employed 21 people. Ernest Istook, Fallin‟s predecessor, got the first funding for the project. A former Istook staff member in Oklahoma, Mike Maxwell, was working for Wave as director of legislative affairs. Tom Leydorf, a former CIA employee married to a former Istook staff member, was the research director at the center. And Kurt Conrad, who was Istook‟s legislative director, registered as a lobbyist for Wave last year, when the center opened. [Oklahoman, 4/14/08]

The center was expected to close without additional earmark funding. The president of the company, William Axelrod, said in 2008 that it received no funding from the Defense Department that year and might not stay open if it did not receive money from the military or another congressional earmark. [Oklahoman, 4/14/08]

Fallin: The center “had potential benefits” for “our national defense effort.” Alex Weintz, Fallin‟s press secretary, said Fallin and her office “were contacted by local officials as well as Kurt Conrad concerning a UWAC appropriations request. In the course of learning about the program, Rep. Fallin determined the center had potential benefits for both the Shawnee community and our national defense effort.” [Oklahoman, 4/14/08]

DC Mary's wasteful Washington Spending Isn't Conservative

DC Mary may actually just have the biggest balls in the world, either that or she is a complete idiot. It’s most likely the second one.

Mary has put out a new ad called “That’s Not Conservative” you can see it on her youtube page but it’s really not worth the watch, maybe just a quick down vote.

In Mary’s awfully produced ad she hits Jari on a few issues, like being a democrat and then some National level issues.

Here’s the thing Mary.

All those thing you hit Jari on regarding DC politics are actually in part YOUR FAULT!  This may shock you but being a Congresswoman means it is your job in DC to stand up for Oklahoma’s beliefs something that you have failed at over and over again.

I honestly can not understand why in the world you would think that you are better able to stand up to DC when you have no say there. This campaign is not about like you seem to think it is.  I know you are been there for a little while and have forgotten exactly how the State Government works in Oklahoma but any 5th grade civics lesson can tell you that if you failed in DC and were unable to stand up for Oklahoma there then you will be even worse when acting on the State level.

Mary Fallin you are not Oklahoma, you are not Conservative, you are part of the wasteful Washington spending you hate so much.  Look in the mirror Mary, you are the problem and we wont allow you to bring your failed politics back to Oklahoma.
