OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Oklahoma’s new Republican Gov. Mary Fallin says her daughter Christina will no longer work as a lobbyist at the state Capitol.
Fallin said Tuesday it was “not in the best interest” of her daughter or the governor’s office for her to continue her work as a lobbyist.

Fallin Daughter to Quit Lobbying Gig
Probably a good idea of the Gov’s daughter isn’t lobbying her mother for special projects. Besides, I’m sure Huddleston was doing it to buy influence anyway. Maybe he had to talk to Fallin Sr. because his father was haunting him, who knows… I for one am sad about this - because contrary to everyone else I think Christina is kinda hot in that Suicide Girls kinda way and she made the capitol more enjoyable. I’m rooting for that to be her new job.

Mary Fallin Supports DREAM Act Opposes Cutting Deficit Takes ObamaCare
So much Mary Fallin FAIL so little time…
Mary Fallin Skips Vote on DREAM Act
Hey remember that one time the Republican Governor’s Association went after Jari Askins for supporting the DREAM Act… those were the days weren’t they. And oh how they’ve all grown in just a few short weeks.
Wednesday night Congress voted on the DREAM Act - Mary Fallin didn’t vote. Way to support your party and your values there… oh wait… those are only your values when they’re convenient for you… right… I forgot….
Oh hey - and remember that other time Mary said she was going to stand up to Washington and fight them when she thought they were doing something wrong. So… does that mean that she doesn’t think the DREAM Act is wrong since she didn’t even show up to vote? Just curious.
And it isn’t going unnoticed by members of her own party either. The popular forum ResistNet has quite a few comments with folks upset with Fallin and the others who refused to show:
But wait… there’s more… Mary Fallin supports deficits and super spending
After campaigning on the importance of stopping the ballooning deficits and the unfair financial burden it places on future generations, here, here, here on her campaign website, here, and here ON HER OWN CONGRESSIONAL WEBSITE!… Mary supports the tax cuts to the wealthy.
According to the Congressional Budget Office estimations on the chart to the right you can see the deficit projection escalating with the Millionaire Tax Breaks.
These tax cuts add $700 BILLION to the deficit. Can we finally say that Mary has no credibility on 1. Fighting Washington, 2. Reducing the deficit and 3. Telling the truth?
Oh wait… it gets so much better. Mary Fallin Takes Government Funded Health Care
Didja hear the one about the Congressman who campaigned against ObamaCare and then threw a fit when he found out he wasn’t getting his government funded health care until like… the end of January? OMG fer real… this happened…
So, this week the Oklahoma Democratic Party called on newly elected Congressman James Lankford to forgo his government funded health care program because he campaigned against Obama’s … government funded health care. Right? Seems reasonable - why would you take something that you thought was wrong? Holy principles, Batman!
Oddly enough, Mary Fallin also campaigned against what she and con’s lovingly referred to as ObamaCare …. except the whole time she was dissing ObamaCare she was accepting …. wait for it…. …… … a government funded health care package!! In fact.. Mary’s health care plan has been paid for by Oklahomans or our federal tax dollars for over 15 years! Oh… kids these days….
Given Mary’s support of reducing the deficit and her aversion to government funded health care - me thinks she too should pay for her own health care costs instead of passing it off to tax payers like us.
Darn that turnaround being fair play. Ten bucks says she’ll take the tax payer funded health care. I bet Randy Brogden is kicking himself right now.

“Mary Fallin is always sending me email newsletters about what a great America she is…..yeah, right. Unless she was in the hospital, there was NO EXCUSE to miss this very important vote!” says Joyce Romano
“Joyce - call Mary Fallin up or visit her office and force a “face to face” meeting. Insist she explain to you why she “copped out” and did not vote. Something stinks, here…. this was a HUGE, HUGE vote!!!!!!!” Replies Jim PixleyAnother FallinFail maybe its just senioritus?

According to the Congressional Budget Office estimations on the chart to the right you can see the deficit projection escalating with the Millionaire Tax Breaks.
“Just two policies dating from the Bush Administration — tax cuts and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan — accounted for over $500 billion of the deficit in 2009 and will account for almost $7 trillion in deficits in 2009 through 2019, including the associated debt-service costs.” According to Center on Budget and Policy PrioritiesAnd ala Stephen Colbert - its so great that you’re continuing something that hasn’t worked so far because it it’s going to help now! Well done.

Tulsa World Comes After FallinFAIL
It seems the Tulsa World took issue with our recent wag of the finger to the new Governor Elect. We’re excited to know you’re reading the blog and welcome your comments here anytime.
Sadly, in their editorial opposition they forgot their OWN editorial just five months ago about Mary Fallin and poor voters.
We don’t think that calling on Oklahomans to help the poor by giving canned food items is a BAD thing. We here at FallinFail think it’s great. In fact - we went so far as to call on the entire government to spend all of the money it’s using for the upcoming Inaugural Balls to go to feed seniors!
What we do take issue with is that this is nothing more than a photo-op. A fake politician, with fake sincerity, who is about to sign bills to cut services to the least among us.
When the Governor Elect was a candidate she was caught saying some pretty bad things about poor people, she’s been caught in some pretty bad votes AGAINST poor people, and now we’re to believe she’s being sincere? Maybe the kids at the Tulsa World were born yesterday, but ya can’t pull the wool over my eyes.
Thus, today we call on the Tulsa World to responsibly report every single instance where funding is cut to any service, school, or center which will prevent the poor from having access to basic food, nutrition, and/or health. If we really want to talk about the hungry and we really want to talk about reducing poverty in Oklahoma, I think we can all agree that the Tulsa World might ought to be along for the ride.

Mary Fallin Skips Vote That would Support the Poor & Middle Class
Via Politico
I’m so confused….. Wonder if the Tulsa World still thinks she cares about the poor…
As the White House and congressional leaders negotiated over extending the Bush era tax cuts, the House Thursday voted to extend the majority of them, continuing tax rates for lower- and middle-income Americans. …..Twelve members didn’t vote, including two lawmakers who just won statewide races: incoming Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin…So… right… ya do a photo-op for a canned food drive to feed the hungry, but you are too busy with Obama at the White House to hail a cab and drive the two miles to the Capitol, run in, and cast a vote to put money in the very people’s pockets that would use the canned food??
I’m so confused….. Wonder if the Tulsa World still thinks she cares about the poor…

Ask Mary Fallin to REALLY Stand up for the Hungry
If you read our report about Mary Fallin announcing her support for the Regional Food Bank with a holiday photo-op after voting against the poor and hungry in their time of need then you know all about the hypocrisy that we’ve come to expect.
What we here at FallinFAIL have decided is that maybe we should just cut the whole inauguration altogether. I mean think about the hundreds of thousands dollars that are going to be spent to feed legislators, lobbyists, and major donors in a time of an economic recession.
What if instead of doing that, the new Governor could donate that money to senior nutrition centers in Oklahoma that will probably end up on the chopping block of upcoming budget cuts. Sure it wouldn’t be a ton of money that would save all of our senior nutrition centers but it would help and the new Governor could finally put her money where her mouth is.
Imagine what it could be like! Fallin could announce to Oklahomans that instead of spending all this money on a big fancy ball she will be at the state capitol from 6pm-10pm that evening to any and all who would like to come by and meet her and talk about issues that matter to them.
Set an example…. like a real stateswoman.
UPDATE: Oh yeah… remember that time Mary said “a poor person never gave anyone a job”… those were good times…
